‘Serving scoops’

These scoops engage with issues that surround the ‘reading’ of craft objects and how through semantic knowledge (psychology of materials, form, visual language) a user is able to instinctively understand objects in certain ways. These scoops are in some senses ambiguous, not making overt visual references they challenge the way we perceive a handle and require the user to reconsider their response to physical objects.
